Holiday Music

I love the Christmas holiday season. The music of the season is, without a doubt, one of my favorite holiday traditions. However, I have a strict rule for myself: NO holiday music before Thanksgiving day. After that, you can bet I'll be listening to these tunes on repeat for the next month or so, ad nauseam.
Much of the holiday music I love predates me. Occassionally I discover something new, usually a new take on a classic. I also love a good remix. I love big band jazz and 80's music, and those tasts are reflected in my playlist selections.
If you love Christmas music, check out my Spotify playlists (below). Check out my Spotify profile for other playlists.
Happy holidays!
Playlists
🎄 Best Christmas - Spotify playlist
Iconic tunes, symbols of the season--no repeats. (2 hours, 21 minutes)
🎁 All I Want for Christmas (is a really great playlist) - Spotify playlist
More holiday music--the "Best Christmas" playlist, and then some. Includes tunes not found in the "Best" list, as well as other takes by different artists. (4 hours, 53 minutes)
P.S. - If you aren't a Spotify user already, you can sign up for a free account.
Spotify's free account is like other free music streaming accounts:
- ads
- shuffle play only
- limited skips per hour
- access any content (including albums and playlists)
In my opinion, Spotify has the best selection and I like that it's not tied to that fruit company in Cuppertino. In fact, it's platform agnostic and can be accessed through a mobile app, web browsers, and on most streaming devices.
I don't receive any compensation from Spotify for proselytizing on their behalf. It's what I use for streaming music, and it's the platform I'll be using to publish playlists and for linking to albums.
