Where to start?

I called this part of my site, "Life and Music," because music is such a force in my life. Music has magical qualities. I love music. I can barely function without it. I have music playing every chance I get. If I don't have music on, I'm probably humming or singing the last song I heard.

Some of the posts here may be all about a favorite song or album, or just something I feel like sharing. Other posts may not have anything to do with music. One thing these posts will all have in common, they all are my own thoughts and opinions. These posts will focus on my "likes". In other words, I'm not going to use this space to be mean. I won't spend time talking about the things I dislike. Also, please don't assume any pretense that these ramblings should have some inherent value. Think of this as a transcript of my inner monologue.

There is no comment section. These posts aren't meant to be conversations. If you love something you read here, that's fantastic. Share it with someone, or let it inspire you to share your own stories in your own way. If you don't like something I've said, I don't care. This is my site. If that sounds crass, go somewhere else. The internet is a virtual cosmos. You'll find something else to fill that void.

Not all the posts will be this long. Some will be longer.

Please keep an open mind and allow me the occassional transgression. I may break my own rules at times. I may rail against some perceived injustice, violating my pledge to celebrate positive influences or experiences. Or, I may just say something stupid. We all have our days and I'm only human.
